Julia Effertz

Julia Effertz (* 1980 in Bergisch Gladbach ) is a German actress , voice actress , filmmaker and literary scholar with Polish and Flemish roots. She is one of the first German "intimacy coordinators" (choreography of intimate film scenes). To do this, she completed an apprenticeship with Ita O'Brien .

From 2007 to 2011 she was trained at the University of Oxford Drama Society and from 2009 to 2012 at the Actors Center London. In 2011 she was nominated for the London theater prize "Off West End Award" for best leading actress and made her German TV debut in 2013 as the daughter of Jürgen Prochnow in the ZDF Herzkino film "The Children of My Daughter". In 2017 Julia Effertz played alongside Kai Wiesinger and Bettina Zimmermann in the Amazon Prime series " Der Lack ist ab ", which won the Romy Academy Award in 2019 . In 2018 Julia Effertz starred alongside Julie Delpy and Richard Armitage in the international movie "My Zoe".

In addition to acting, Effertz also works as a screenwriter. Your scripts were u. a. nominated for the London Funny Women Award, as well as for the Black Nights Film Festival in Tallinn.
