The Niandan in the upper reaches of Kissidougou

The Niandan is a right tributary of the Niger in Guinea .

The river has its source about 30 km west of the city of Kissidougou at an altitude of about 600 m. It flows first to the east, then around Kissidougou, for a short distance further to the northwest, and finally to steer in a north-northeast direction towards its mouth. After about 180 km it flows into the Niger near the town of Baro .
