Erich Hallhuber (born July 14, 1951 in Munich ; † September 17, 2003 there ) was a German popular actor and voice actor .

Life

Erich Hallhuber was the son of the former opera singer and actor Erich Hallhuber senior .

The popular theater and film actor graduated from the Otto Falckenberg School in Munich with engagements in Cologne and Munich. He became popular in the role of district judge Heinz Wunder in Franz Xaver Bogner's series Café perjury of the BR as well as butcher-Willi in the BR series Löwengrube and as Salvator speaker Brother Barnabas at the strong beer tapping on the Nockherberg .

Together with his father Erich Hallhuber senior, he played a lisping caretaker in the television series Tales from the Neighboring House . The script was written by Willy Purucker , who had already written the character of the butcher Willi for him for the BR series Löwengrube . His numerous leading roles on television include appearances in the crime series Police Inspection 1 and Kriminaltango as well as in the four-part adventure game Wind and Stars . He played one of the leading roles as a partner of Karin Thaler in the Traumschiff episode Südsee , shot in 2002 , after having been in Argentina with the dream ship in 1998 . In the movie Rossini - or the murderous question of who slept with whom by Helmut Dietl , he played the corrupt bank clerk Hopf . In Costa-Gavras ' Holocaust film Der Stellvertreter (2002) based on a template by Rolf Hochhuth , he was cast as Von Rutta .

Erich Hallhuber was also in demand as a voice actor. So he spoke z. B. Alan Rickman (as Severus Snape ) in the first two Harry Potter films .

The audience in his hometown will also remember him with his literary homage to the poet Erich Kästner , whom he held in high esteem and which he brought to the stage in the 2002/2003 season.

Hallhuber was found dead in his Munich apartment on September 21, 2003. The cause of death, an epileptic fit , was only announced some time later. He was buried in Munich's Ostfriedhof (grave no. 133-1-10).

Hallhuber did not live to see the broadcast of his last appearance as Oberamtsrat Rudolf Kalisch in FX Bogner's series Munich 7 . His grave can be seen briefly in episode 33 (season 5 / episode 3).

Erich Hallhuber was in a relationship with Angela Roy .
