Erich Hallhuber senior

Erich Hallhuber (born February 20, 1929 in Munich ; † November 28, 2015 there ) was a German actor and opera singer (bass baritone).

Life

Erich Hallhuber studied business administration and already worked at the Münchner Kammerspiele during his studies . He began his singing career in 1959 as a bass baritone in Passau . After having had to give up this job after seven years for health reasons, Hallhuber was a training manager at an insurance company.

When his son Erich Hallhuber jun. Erich Hallhuber , who died in 2003, was looking for a television father for the three-part television series Tales from the Neighbor House, began Erich Hallhuber's third career. From then on he played in In the Name of the Lord with Heiner Lauterbach , in Tatort , in the BR series Franzi and in the Komödienstadel . Hallhuber played a leading role alongside Konstantin Wecker and Johannes Zirner in the Heimatfilm Gipfelsturm ; the film from the series Alpendramen is about measuring the Zugspitze.

From 2009 he played in the television series Dahoam is Dahoam in the role of "Alois Preissinger", for which he was in front of the camera until a day before his death. So he could still be seen in the series until February 25, 2016.

Hallhuber died on November 28, 2015 at the age of 86 in Munich. The urn was buried at the Munich-Untermenzing cemetery (grave field 2, row 1, number 0007).
