Hannah Hollinger (* in Burgkirchen ) is a German screenwriter .

Life

Hollinger attended a convent school and was initially interested in curative education . On the basis of her own knowledge, she changed her career aspirations and initially began to publish as a writer and later came to writing screenplays. After Hollinger first distinguished herself as a writer of television series, she became known for her conception of the series Aus heiterem Himmel und Himmel und Erde - A divine team . Since 1998 she has concentrated on writing television films. She works particularly often with the director Matti Geschonneck . Their collaboration Die Mutter was awarded the Bavarian Television Prize in 2003.

In 2007 she received the author's prize for her life's work at the Cologne Conference , and in 2014 the Grimme Prize for her screenplay for the film Grenzgang (based on the novel of the same name by Stephan Thome ) from 2013, directed by Brigitte Maria Bertele .
