action

Luisa is very well able to help others with psychological problems, but she feels unable to do so in herself. When she realizes that her own condition is becoming more and more unstable, she decides to find peace and relaxation in her home in East Frisia, more precisely on one of the East Frisian Islands . Unfortunately, that doesn't work, because when she meets her former love Robert there, bad memories are awakened in her.

In the further course of the plot, a couple is killed on the island. His son Mark is at the end of his nerve. The misfortune that he lost both parents to the murder is made even worse when there is a suspicion that two of his best friends are under urgent suspicion: Reini and Alex. As if the situation wasn't complicated enough, the two are also the sons of Luisa's former love Robert.

When Luisa realizes that Mark may want to take his own life , she takes care of him and begins to talk to him for the first time to help him out of his sad situation. However, she suspects what cruel secret he is hiding from her and tries to make inquiries with his previous therapist. Luisa suspects that Mark planned an extended suicide which failed. Should he repeat this, Luisa is now also in danger because she is close to him. When Alex tries to blackmail Mark because he knows that he has his parents on his conscience, Mark also kills Alex. But after he doesn't manage to kill himself, he tries to get Luisa to do it for him. However, she refuses and only Roberts courageous intervention, ultimately fulfills Mark's wish to die. Luisa leaves the island realizing that her psychological abilities have limits and in this case she was unable to help.
