Moebius (also Möbius ) is a German science fiction film by director Matti Geschonneck , who also wrote the screenplay , from 1992.
action
A train disappears in the subway in Berlin for some unknown reason. A young mathematician develops an unusual theory of where the train might have disappeared to: the train would be in a closed system of the subway network. The mathematician thus travels through the fourth dimension to the train. The architect of the subway network eventually disappears too.

The film is based on the short story A Subway Named Moebius by the American astronomer AJ Deutsch . It was premiered on February 1, 1992 in Saarbrücken at the annual film festival there. The general theatrical release followed 13 months later, on April 1, 1993. The future rental took the Progress movie rental .
Moebius was the first film directed by Matthias Geschonneck.
An Argentinian film from 1996 , based on the same short story, bears the same name .
