Krista Posch

Krista Posch (also Christa ; born January 10, 1948 in Bozen , South Tyrol ) is an actress , singer , presenter and voice actress . She has participated in numerous German-language productions in theater, film and television.

life and career

Krista Posch grew up in Bolzano as the daughter of the South Tyrolean politician Pepi Posch (1914–1991) and the art and antiques dealer Elisabeth “Lily” Kronau (1923–2013), her sister was the author and medical journalist Ursula Goldmann-Posch (1949–2016 ). Before starting her acting training at the Max Reinhardt Seminar in Vienna, she worked as a speaker and presenter for the broadcaster Rai Bozen and Bayerischer Rundfunk , Munich. During her training, she already played at the theater in der Josefstadt , made her first films (e.g. The Way to the Free ), played Eav at the Tyrolean Folk Games in Die Eav - Die Lust von Franz Kranewitter and the main role of the stigmatized maid in Stigma from Felix Mitterer . She then worked at the Düsseldorfer Schauspielhaus from 1982 to 1986 and at the Bavarian State Theater in Munich from 1986 to 1991 . In Düsseldorf she played Angelika in the world premiere of Die humpbacked Angelika by Jörg Graser and Lena in Georg Büchner's Leonce and Lena , in Munich a. a. the Dora in The Righteous by Camus, Shen Te Shui Ta in The Good Man by Sezuan by Bertolt Brecht and the Rosalind in William Shakespeare's As You Like It , and Krista Posch u. a. Guest engagements at the Zürcher Schauspielhaus as Mascha in Three Sisters by Anton Chekhov and at the Munich Opera Festival as Agnes Bernauer in Carl Orff's Die Bernauerin .

She has been freelance since 1992 and has been in front of the camera for many film and television productions. Krista Posch played Helene Schweiger in Felix Mitterer's In der Löwengrube and Terry Gutmann in Anne Meara's hit comedy Afterplay as a guest at the Munich Volkstheater . Krista Posch was at the Münchner Kammerspiele from 2001/2002 to 2004/2005 in Franz Wittenbrink's recital The world becomes more beautiful every day .

In addition, Krista Posch often works with her voice for film, TV, radio, documentary and radio plays. She is or was the dubbing voice of Charlotte Rampling , Miranda Richardson , Marisa Paredes , Ellen Burstyn and Julie Christie .

Krista Posch is married to the actor Jan Eberwein for the second time . She lives and works in Munich .
