Patricia Görg

Patricia Görg (born March 21, 1960 in Frankfurt / Main ) is a German writer .

Life

Patricia Görg studied theater studies , sociology and psychology in Berlin , where she now lives as a freelance writer. In addition to novels , she wrote short stories , essays and radio plays .

Görg received a. a. The following awards and grants: 1989 a grant from the Literary Colloquium Berlin , 1994 a residency grant from the Künstlerhaus Schloss Wiepersdorf and in 1999 the Telekom Austria grant at the Ingeborg Bachmann Competition in Klagenfurt ; In 2000, her book Glücksspagat was voted book of the month by the Darmstadt jury . In 2007 she was nominated with a manuscript excerpt from Meier with Y for the Alfred Döblin Prize, and in 2009 the book was nominated for the Prize of the Hamburg Guntram and Irene Rinke Foundation . In 2011 she received a one-year scholarship from the Rinke Foundation as part of the TAGEWERK series. Your handbook of the unsuccessful (2012) was voted book of the month by the Darmstadt jury.
