Stina Ekblad
Stina Åsa Maria Ekblad (born February 26, 1954 in Solf , Finland ) is a Swedish actress .
Life
Stina Ekblad grew up in a farming family in Ostrobothnia . Her younger sister is the Finnish actress Ylva Ekblad . At the age of 17 she moved to Denmark, where she studied acting and found work at the Odense Theater . Eventually she moved on to Sweden, where she played at the Stockholm City Theater from 1980 to 1988 and then at the Royal Dramatic Theater . Their greatest success she had when she for her performances in 1987 Amrorosa and The Way of the Serpent on the Rock as Best Actress at the Swedish Film Award Guldbagge Award. Further nominations were made in 1996 for her portrayal of Gunnel Runeberg in Susanne Bier's love drama Pensionat Oskar and in 2010 for A sensible solution by Jörgen Bergmark .
Ekblad is married to the actor Jan Dolata . Both have a son, the musician Adrian Dolata.
