Mary-Margaret Humes

Mary-Margaret Humes (born April 4, 1958 in Florida ) is an American actress .

Life

Raised in Watertown, New York , she began her career with a supporting role in the popular television series A Duke Seldom Comes Alone (1980). After that, she appeared in nearly 30 other series in guest roles, including Knight Rider , The A-Team , Criminal Minds , A Colt Just In Case , Harry's Miraculous Criminal Court , TJ Hooker , Jake and McCabe - Through Thick and Thin , Matlock and CSI: On the trail of the perpetrators .

In 1981 she played a leading role in Mel Brooks ' film Mel Brooks - The Crazy History of the World . From 1998 on, Humes starred in her best-known role as Dawson Leery's mother Gail in the series Dawson's Creek for all six seasons. After the series ended, she only appeared occasionally in television productions and films.

Humes has been married to her husband Raul A. Bruce since 1992.
