Rainer Grenkowitz

Rainer Grenkowitz (born November 24, 1955 in Berlin ) is a German actor .

Life

In 1977 Rainer Grenkowitz applied to the Hanover University of Music, Drama and Media with his "first work" . After studying acting, Grenkowitz made guest appearances at the Munich Theater der Jugend and at the city theaters in Wuppertal, Bremen and Bochum. With the German-German comedy Meier , which ran in cinemas in 1986, Grenkowitz became an overnight star.

He was mainly known for the role of Dr. Michael Lüdwitz in the series Medicopter 117 - Every Life Counts , which he had to leave in 2001. Other TV productions were Praxis Bülowbogen , Liebling Kreuzberg , Mit Leib und Seele , Schwarz intervenes , Our Charly , you are my child , Rosamunde Pilcher - Lichterspiel and Inga Lindström - Decision by the river .

Together with his wife, he founded a psychotherapy center on Lake Constance in 1984. Rainer Grenkowitz has two sons. He now lives in Bali .

There he has been running the Bali Mandala , a resort for yoga & meditation in the spirit of contemplative traditions, with Gisela von Keizer as a friend and business partner since 2004 .
