Herbert Herrmann (born June 7, 1941 in Bern ) is a German-Swiss actor .

Career

After completing an apprenticeship as a typesetter , he took acting lessons and received his first engagements in Zurich and Bern . Guest appearances have taken him to the Renaissance Theater in Berlin, to the Komödie im Bayerischer Hof in Munich (since 1970), to the Hamburger Kammerspiele (1971), to the Comedy Düsseldorf (1972 to 1979), to the Comedy im Marquardt in Stuttgart ( 1980) and to the theater on Kurfürstendamm in Berlin. He also went on tours .

Herrmann has been featured in television productions since 1973. He gave his first leading role in 1979 in the television film Fleisch at the side of Jutta Speidel . Herbert Herrmann became popular primarily through his roles in the television series Drei sind einer zu viel (1976) and Ichmare eine Familie (1983–1986) and Men are something wonderful (1996–2000).

Private life

From 1977 to 1982 Herrmann lived with his colleague Jutta Speidel , from 1983 to 1998 with the actress Susanne Uhlen . This relationship resulted in a son (* 1988). Since 2003 he has lived with the actress and author Nora von Collande .
