Der Hausgeist is a German television series that was produced by ZDF from 1991 to 1993 under the direction of Ralf Gregan (12 episodes) and Wilfried Dotzel .

content

After her villa is torn down to make way for a thermal bath, Baroness Henriette von Sydeck ends up in the modern world completely by surprise. Desperate, she goes looking for her old friend Patricia von Weber. Since she has since passed away, she only comes across her nephew, the copywriter Ben von Weber. This is not very enthusiastic and tries to get rid of the clinging house spirit. However, he really messes up his everyday life.

The series is often referred to as the German version of Beaubergende Jeannie . Apart from the fact that Henriette von Sydeck is a house spirit and not a genie in a bottle , there are hardly any other substantive matches. While Jeannie crosses her arms and nods her head to do magic, the house ghost blows on his outstretched index finger, for example to let objects float.
