Ralf Gregan

Ralf Gregan (born December 2, 1933 in Bremen ) is a German director, actor and screenwriter. He also worked under the pseudonym Ilja von Anutroff .

biography

Gregan graduated from business school and then completed a three-year apprenticeship as a window dresser. This profession did not fill him, however, instead he began in 1958 at an acting school with singing and dance training. In 1960 he was able to record his first engagements at the theaters in Rendsburg and Hamburg and at the same time made a name for himself as the author of three plays that were performed nationwide. In 1963 he founded the cabaret " Hamburger Meisengesellschaft " and worked there as an author and director. The following year he went to Berlin and worked with Dieter Hallervorden on the cabaret “ Die Wühlmäuse ”. In the years that followed, Gregan turned increasingly to television and directed a number of films and television series. He was best known for his collaboration with the Berlin actor Dieter Hallervorden. Occasionally Gregan also appeared in small roles himself in the films he directed. Ralf Gregan now lives in Berlin and Mallorca , is married and has two children. He has been working with Dieter Hallervorden since the 1960s. According to their own statement, both are bound by a deep friendship, which had a positive effect on their joint work.
