action

The young Canadian Chris is an avid sports pilot and knows how to take off and land with his small single-engine machine even in the most difficult terrain. When one day he is hired by an obscure crook boss named Himmel to fly mysterious contraband goods over the national border to Sweden for 5,000 marks per flight, he accepts the offer, believing that this is easy money. But then Chris has the unfortunate idea of ripping off the gangsters. With around one million marks in a suitcase, he flees from Boss Himmel and his ice-cold killer Arthur and the henchman Stazi to the Hessian province, in the hope that he will not be found here. Here Chris, who was shot by his former clients, finds shelter in the weekend house of the young teacher Corinna, who takes him in and to whom he tells the whole story. Both get closer to each other quickly, but their happiness is short-lived, because soon Heaven's people, including Arthur, are standing in front of the door, taking Corinna hostage and kidnapping her in order to put Chris under pressure and get the money back. There was a fight and Himmel was stabbed to death. Finally Corinna and Chris flee in a small car, with the dead sky in the passenger seat and the two remaining gangsters on their necks ...
