Stefan Behrens

Stefan Behrens (born June 2, 1942 in Dresden ) is a German actor .

Career

Behrens is a nephew of the film actor Viktor de Kowa . After an apprenticeship as a bricklayer, he took acting lessons with Else Bongers in Berlin. Stage engagements in Hamburg, Munich, Cologne and Berlin followed. He was honored as the best young actor by the Berlin Academy of the Arts.

He was known to a wide audience primarily as an actor in television series , so u. a. in Der Kommissar , Derrick , Der Alte , Café Wernicke , Timm Thaler , Tatort , Praxis Bülowbogen , Holidays in Italian and three ladies from the grill .

Stefan Behrens also took on the role of Fritz Steppke in the Paul Lincke operetta Frau Luna , a.o. Harald Juhnke , Ingeborg Hallstein and Edith Hancke . a. with the song Das ist die Berliner Luft , recorded in 1978 with the Bavarian Radio Choir and Orchestra .

As a voice actor, he lent his voice a. a. Bruno Kirby ( The Godfather - Part II ) , Michael Nesmith ( The Monkees ) and Kenneth Williams ( It's crazy - Just don't lose your head and It's crazy - No water flows in the desert ) .

Private life

Behrens was the life partner of the actress Evelyn Hamann .
