Klara Manzel (born September 20, 1983 in Dresden ) is a German actress .

Life

Klara Manzel completed her acting studies at the University of Film and Television Potsdam , which she graduated in 2008. She played in theater productions at the Hans-Otto-Theater Potsdam, the Sophiensaelen Berlin, as well as at the Deutsches Theater Berlin and the Schauspielhaus Zurich . She made her feature film debut in 2006 in Henner Winckler's Lucy . She appeared in Kaspar Heidelbach's Berlin 36 as well as in Sven Taddicken's adventure comedy Twelve Meters Without a Head . In 2009 Manzel stood in front of the camera for Dominik Grafs In the Face of Crime in the role of Eva Padelski . In addition to Remo Schulze , she played the leading role in Bartosz Werner's relationship drama Weeds in Paradise , which ran in 2010 in the competition of the Max Ophüls Preis film festival . Also in 2010 she can be seen alongside Volkram Zschiesche and Jan Dose in Andreas Kleinert's drama Barriere , which premiered at the Berlinale .

Klara Manzel is the daughter of the actor Peter Mario Grau and the actress Dagmar Manzel and lives in Zurich . She is married and has two kids.
