Kaspar Heidelbach (born November 20, 1954 in Tettnang ) is a German director .

Heidelbach studied art history and theater, film and television studies (TFF) in Cologne. While still a student, he became an assistant director at ZDF and then worked as a director for the series Ein Fall für Zwei , Eurocops , Tatort and for the private broadcaster SAT1 also for Wolff's Revier . Kaspar Heidelbach sees the focus of his work in the field of television films and feature films.

Awards

Kaspar Heidelbach received the Bavarian Television Prize and the renowned Adolf Grimme Prize (together with Jan Josef Liefers , Heino Ferch and Michael Souvignier ) for the television film Das Wunder von Lengede (2004 ).
