Der Frauenflüsterer is a German television thriller by Kaspar Heidelbach from 2005. It was created as the 594th episode of the crime series Tatort .

action

After years without a driver's license, which Thiel was revoked because of drunk driving , he takes driving lessons again. For his next case he still has to be driven by his father in a taxi. The restaurant owner Dietrich Röttger fell out of the window to his death. There are strangle marks on his neck . Thiel and Boerne find out that Röttger had received a visit from Markus Hoffschulte - the riding instructor of Röttger's wife Doris - shortly before his death. They both had an argument that revolved around money. Röttger had once loaned Hoffschulte 20,000 euros, which he could not repay immediately. At the time of the dispute, Röttger was heavily drunk, which is why Markus left after a short time. It finally turns out that Dietrich Röttger committed suicide. He first tried to hang himself in the attic with the robe belt, and later threw himself out the window. The reason was a paternity test, which made it clear to him that he was unable to procreate and that his son Niklas could not have come from him either. Doris knows that Markus caused him to have his fertility checked, especially since Niklas is Markus' son. Doris swears revenge on Markus.

While Thiel is studying for the driving test, Boerne has other problems, he has to take care of his 17-year-old niece Betty. She gets a vacation job at Markus' riding stables. Like all women in the area, Betty falls in love with Markus and is looking forward to her 18th birthday. Boerne doesn't like to see her crush, especially since the whole case is not over for Markus. One night his valuable stallion is kidnapped and found castrated a little later . The animal is now worthless. Markus receives the testicles back in a parcel. Although shortly afterwards a death threat composed of letters hangs on a stable of the equestrian center, Markus does not seek personal protection from the police. Shortly thereafter, his wife has to go to an appointment in town and uses Markus' car, which explodes. The woman survived seriously injured, but later died.

When examining the stallion testicles, Boerne finds a woman's hair that can ultimately be assigned to Doris. She admits that she and two friends abducted the stallion, with a veterinarian's assistant neutering the stallion. However, it has nothing to do with the car explosion. Meanwhile, Markus gets into further entanglements. In a bar he is attacked by villagers, including the former demolition expert Ottensen, whose wives had an affair with Markus. Markus threatens to defend himself with a rifle if necessary, as he has a gun license . Shortly thereafter, Ottensen is dead. Markus allegedly shot him in self-defense after he was attacked with a knife by Ottensen. In fact, the stab just missed Markus' carotid artery. The examination of the deceased, however, shows that he could never have wielded a knife, as he had broken his hand bones in the fight shortly before. In addition, the traces of blood in Markus' house show that there was obviously no fight. The investigators conclude that Markus inflicted his injuries on himself. It is obvious that he really wanted to get rid of his wife, who after Röttger's suicide wanted a divorce from Markus. Since she owns a large part of the riding stables, Markus would then be destitute. Betty has also recognized that Markus must be the culprit, because he stuck the threatening letter on a pad that she had previously taken for a drawing that was printed on the threatening letter sheet. She confronts Markus and is then locked in a horse box with an extremely aggressive stallion. She is said to have died in an accident she had caused herself. Boerne and Thiel appear, pursue Markus by horse and car and catch him. Thiel frees Betty. When Boerne teases him that he drove without a driver's license, Thiel wordlessly shows him his newly acquired driver's license .
