action

The IT expert Sebastian Sandberg falls from his balcony. The inspectors Thiel and Nadeshda Krusenstern are investigating the alleged suicide case and find traces of a break-in in the apartment. Forensic doctor Prof. Boerne, who is currently preparing intensively for his hunter test , initially finds no evidence of a murder. A little later, the investigative journalist Jens Offergeld is found shot dead in his house. The young Leila Wagner, who had visited Offergeld shortly beforehand and fled with his car when the perpetrator entered Offergeld's house, escapes to Thiel, who she assumes is her father. Her mother, who is suffering from cancer, gave her both Thiel and Offergeld as the two possible fathers. Thiel takes Leila in temporarily, but lets Boerne's assistant Haller compare Leila's DNA with his own. It turns out that it is not Thiel, but Jens Offergeld who is Leila's father.

When Leila fled Offergeld's house, she had his car key with her, on which a USB stick was attached. Leila receives threatening phone calls and is supposed to hand over the stick, which she didn't initially notice as such. At the same time, however, she blackmailed the unknown caller and asked for a six-figure amount. Thiel finds out that Sandberg had supported Offergeld in his research.

Leila discovers the stick and the data on it that Dr. Freya Freytag, who is also Boerne's hunting examiner, burden. When Leila tries to inform Boerne about her discovery, Freytag of all people answers Boerne's mobile phone. Leila has this kidnapped from Thiel's apartment and wants to kill her in the forest during a night hunt. The project fails because Thiel and Krusenstern intervene at the last second and arrest Freytag. This had also set a contract killer on Sandberg and Offergeld.

reception

Reviews

“The plot stumbles and the pranksters of ' Do you understand fun? 'Smuggling in Guido Cantz as a funny corpse certainly didn't help concentration on the set either. But the dialogues are of a tipsy elegance. "

The film service ruled: "Bloodless (TV series) crime thriller, which only tolerably stretches the unspectacular plot with the usual interpersonal banter of the Münster-based 'Tatort' duo."
