Janina Naomi Fautz (born May 31, 1995 in Mannheim ) is a German actress .

Life

Fautz grew up in Hanhofen and graduated from high school in 2014. As an eight-year-old she got involved in a campaign by the Tiger Duck Club for children in the Third World and became a Tiger Duck reporter.

In 2005 Joseph Vilsmaier discovered Fautz; she got a first role in Vilsmaier's fairytale film The Christmas Porridge . From 2007 she embodied Klette in Die Wilden Kerle 4 and 5 . In 2007 she also appeared in front of the camera for the television melodrama Suchkind 312 by Gabi Kubach . In January 2008, the twelve-year-old was seen at the side of Uwe Ochsenknecht and Katja Flint in the third part of the ZDF film series Luginsland , in this case Murder in All Innocence . In 2009 she played the girl Erna in Michael Haneke's award-winning film The White Ribbon - A German Children's Story . From 2010 to 2012, she also appeared in the German youth - crime series alone against the clock with which the KiKA aired. Since 2017 she has played commissioner Anna Springer's goddaughter Merle in the series Wilsberg .

Fautz lives in Speyer , is UNICEF junior ambassador and ambassador for the Sterntaler children's hospice. V.
