action

The location of the restaurant scenes, the Gasthof Zur Post in Zons

For years, Professor Harald Götz has been researching feverishly into a drug for his wife Martina, who has ALS . He desperately hopes for financial support in the form of grants, but Professor Boerne has just secured it for a prestigious research project on mummies. Finally, Frau Götz takes her own life with a gun that her husband got on the Darknet . In a session with his psychotherapist Dr. Corinna Adam speaks to Götz openly about his thirst for revenge against Boerne.

When Boerne celebrated his success in a restaurant with colleagues, the armed Götz went to the event and took those present hostage. He secretly gives Boerne a substance through poisoned food that simulates the symptoms of ALS and thus demonstrates the terrible effects of the disease. In fact, after a while, Boerne suffers from massive symptoms of paralysis. Götz shoots a hostage who wants to call for help and holed up with the others in the guest room. He offers them that they should kill Boerne in return for their freedom. Boerne's assistant Silke Haller has now learned that her boss has tried to get funding because of planned budget cuts in order not to lose Haller's position and thus her as his employee. When she goes to the ceremony to say thank you, she also falls into the hands of the hostage taker. Some of the doctors seriously consider Götz's offer to hasten Boerne's demise, but Haller faces their helpless boss. The police is about to access a SEK to end the hostage-taking, but Thiel aborts use as his assistant takes notes Krusenstern in Goetz 'laboratory that has released in the restaurant a virus. Thiel then requests an epidemic protection command .

Krusenstern finds out that Boerne was poisoned with botox , which is not contagious but also fatal as it leads to botulism and, after a while, to agonizing death from suffocation . Dr. Corinna Adam shows up on site for psychological support. She lets Thiel and the operations manager know that she is the only one who can communicate with the hostage taker. Krusenstern now learns that Dr. Adam, who is also a neurologist, has also conducted research at the university in the past, but was removed from her chair a few years ago because of inadmissible research methods. Together with Thiel, Dr. Adam enters the inn and engages Götz in a conversation. Thiel uses this and with Haller manages the meanwhile almost unconscious Boerne out of the house and into a delivery truck. Dr. Adam notices this and now shows her true colors. She implores Götz to finally kill Boerne, which she has long tried to prepare through her meetings. When he refuses, she in turn shoots Götz with his gun, knocks Haller down and flees with the delivery truck with Boerne. The police can find the van through a large manhunt, Dr. Arrest Adam and give Boerne medical treatment in time to save his life. In the end, Boerne thanks Thiel and his assistant for the rescue with the promise of wanting to become a better person.

Reviews

“At this point, the two comedy criminalists are regularly wiped off so that the author of this criticism is wiped off in the forum afterwards. As pleasantly familiar as this mechanism is - we would like to override it here and say from the bottom of our hearts how good we think Boerne and Thiel are in this episode. "

“If you cast out a lot of its silliness from a format, something should take the place of those silliness, if possible something worth mentioning. However, director Lars Jessen only tells a seemingly constructed story [...] about the injustices of life and that desperate man from the beginning, Professor Götz, who for good reason wants to hit his colleague Boerne's chin beard. [...] The gag routine is broken with the anniversary event, but the story is too weak. Münster, a fate: if you've exaggerated the jokes forever, you can't get out of the act at some point. "
