Oda Thormeyer

Oda Thormeyer (* 1964 in Fürstenau , Lower Saxony ) is a German actress .

Life

After studying at the Max Reinhardt Seminar , Thormeyer was engaged at the Burgtheater in Vienna from 1983 to 1991 . There she played, among other things, Miranda in Shakespeare's " The Storm ", directed by Claus Peymann . Afterwards she belonged to the ensembles of various German theaters, such as the Schauspiel Frankfurt , the Deutsches Schauspielhaus in Hamburg and the Schauspiel Hannover . At these houses she works with the directors Christina Paulhofer , Anselm Weber , Sebastian Baumgarten , Luk Perceval , Jürgen Gosch and René Pollesch, among others . Since the 2009/2010 season she has been a permanent member of the Thalia Theater in Hamburg . Occasionally Thormeyer also appears in TV productions.

Oda Thormeyer is the daughter of Arndt-Dieter Thormeyer . Her daughter Rosa has also been a member of the Thalia Theater ensemble since 2019/20.
