Sebastian Thümler

Sebastian Thümler (* before 1995) is a German film editor . From 2008 to 2012 he was a board member of the Bundesverband Filmschnitt Editor eV (BFS) .

Life

Thümler completed his training as an editor after various internships between 1995 and 1997 at NDR . After completing his training, he worked as a freelance film editor from October 1997. The first well-known production in which Thümler was involved was the NDR children's series Die Pfefferkörner from 1999 to 2001. Several television series, TV films and documentaries followed, until in 2007 he was responsible for editing a feature film with Chiko for the first time.

Since 2002 he has also been working as a lecturer for film editing on the postgraduate course in film at the IFS Cologne and at the Baden-Württemberg Film Academy .

Sebastian Thümler lives in Hamburg .
