A German film by the director Almut Getto from 2009 is very close to you .
action
The eccentric Phillip lives withdrawn in his own strange world. During the day he examines banknotes in the basement of the central bank for authenticity. He spends the evenings at the bar of a local cabaret and sees himself confirmed there in his value judgment: The people are completely blown away!
When the blind cellist Lina stumbles against his table and into his life, Phillip's world begins to shake. Unexpectedly, he takes a liking to the young musician , who, despite her handicap, faces him fearlessly and brightly. Pleasantly irritated, he returns home and is finally torn from his orderly everyday life: His apartment has been completely cleared out - excluding his ironing machine , but including his turtle Paul. So it happens that Phillip can no longer deny himself to life.

Reviews
“A charming comedy, carried by two convincing main actors, which largely circumvents the trivial pitfalls of the popular subject. Quiet moments, in which the protagonists reveal their loneliness and their search for identity and meaning in life, give the amusing love story substance and credibility. "
““ Very close to you ”(..) tells of the difficult process of rapprochement between a young obsessional neurotic and a blind cellist. What may seem a little original to read becomes a ray of hope in the German comedy landscape on the screen thanks to the fine-tempered acting by Bastian Trost, imaginative image design and extremely loving equipment. "
“In her first work Fickende Fisch (2002), about a tender childhood love, the director impressed with consistent motifs and independent visual language. In her new film, Almut Getto continues to develop aesthetically, skillfully realizing the uniqueness of the contrasting worlds in which her characters live. ""
“A film by Almut Getto […] with absolutely nothing right: the types are out of this world, the story absurd, the situations unbelievable. What was meant to be a comedy is, at best, involuntarily funny. For example, one wonders when a blind person has furnished her apartment with tons of colored light sources. Or pick up her cello there, which she had just put in the car of a fellow musician and the musician has not yet brought it. Unfortunately, the whole thing continues the same way. A nuisance all along the line! "
