Heiko Pinkowski (born October 8, 1966 in Hüls , North Rhine-Westphalia ) is a German actor , screenwriter and film producer .

Life

After graduating from high school in 1988 and discontinuing studies in civil engineering , German studies and philosophy , Heiko Pinkowski worked as a draftsman , nursing assistant , welder , truck driver , master printer and carer for the severely disabled.

He has been enthusiastic about the theater since his youth . He played at the children's and youth theater of the city of Krefeld KRESCH and came to the city ​​theater in Krefeld , the studio stage in Cologne and the Schiller theater in Berlin without attending an acting school . In 1994 he passed the stage entrance examination. This was followed by employment at the Bauhaus stage in Dessau and, from 1995 to 2001, a permanent position at the theater of the state capital Magdeburg . In 2001, Heiko Pinkowski moved with his family to Berlin , where he has been working as a freelance actor and producer on stage and in front of and behind the camera.

In 2011 Heiko Pinkowski founded the film production company Very Good Films with the cameraman Dennis Pauls , the producer Anne Baeker and the director Axel Ranisch . The company's first productions were the no-budget film Big Girls and the children's film Reuber , both directed by Axel Ranisch. Heiko Pinkowski was able to celebrate international festival successes as an actor, co-author and producer with Big Girls and collect numerous awards.
