action
Two women who look very similar to one another meet one day in the elevator. The wealthy financial advisor Nadja Trenkler offers the unemployed housewife Susanne Lasko an occasional role reversal for a fee. Susanne, who has been abandoned by her husband, agrees after initial hesitation.
Nadja carefully prepares Susanne for her task and tells her about her husband; the two have been going their separate ways for a long time. Susanne puts on a notebook so as not to make a mistake. Nadja's husband does not notice the dizziness at first and is only surprised at the inner transformation of his pseudo-wife - because the two women are very different in character. Then Susanne falls in love with her bogus husband and spends a night with him.
Meanwhile, Nadja Trenkler gets involved in dubious business. She founds a company in the name of Susanne Lasko. As a result of illegal business, Nadja - who is mistaken for Susanne - and later her lover too, are killed by criminals who feel they have been cheated of their money.
Susanne sees television coverage of the incidents and realizes that she was betrayed. From now on she has to play the role of Nadja Trenkler in order not to endanger herself.
Reviews
"(TV) thriller based on a successful novel that robs itself of its credibility through a very striking realism [...]."
“The bloody prelude to the thriller based on Petra Hammesfahr's novel already suggests that the story told as a flashback will quickly take an abysmal turn. The nuanced playing words and good, d. H. unobtrusive special effects make it that you perceive Nadja and Susanne as completely different people from start to finish. Conclusion: twice as exciting thanks to strong Wörner. "
