Carlo Brückner is a prevented rock star. The guitarist always dreamed of becoming a musician and still raves about the rock music of the 1960s. Unfortunately, he's just a teacher who gets on his students' nerves with his passion. When he himself suffers a heart attack, he meets the annoying doctor Ellen Hilbig, who is currently in divorce and is fighting for the custody of her child. He got to know her son Franz as a substitute for the trust teacher. He advises him to simply report his mother to the youth welfare office. After Franz does that, Carlo is suddenly turned on as a mediator in the marital dispute, and he falls in love with Ellen.
