Michael Eckelt (* before 1984 in Hanover ) is a German film producer .
Michael Eckelt initially studied German and politics at Leibniz University in Hanover. After this time he became managing director and program designer in the Hanoverian cinemas of Hans-Joachim Flebbe , including the cinema on Raschplatz . From 1984 he became managing director of the impulse film distribution in Hamburg . At the end of the 1980s he moved to the Hanseatic city. From 1992 to 1995 he headed the Hamburg Film Fund. From 1997 he was managing director of Neue Impuls Film . In 2006 he founded Riva Filmproduktion . In 2015 he was awarded the German Academy for Television's producer award.
