action

The art student Lourdes takes a trip to Obaba in order to capture Obaba's reality with the help of her camera. But Obaba's world turns out to be very different than expected. For the residents of Obaba, the past is a constant companion from which they do not flee. With the help of Obaba's residents, Lourdes is becoming more and more immersed in Obaba's history. In the process she gets to know Miguel, who brings her closer to this world, which is in great contrast to her previous life.

criticism

"A film on the current trend in Spain of cinematic memoria", the coming to terms with the social encrustations of the Franco dictatorship; at the same time the adaptation of a Basque customer that signals the beginning of a dialogue with the Basque Country as well as a lack of atmospheric and dramaturgical density. "
