Sabine Orléans
Sabine Orléans (born March 16, 1960 in Düsseldorf ; born Sabine Schwanz ) is a German actress .
Career
From 1979 to 1983 Sabine Orléans received her training at the Hanover University of Music and Theater . From 1983 to 1989 she had an engagement at the Wuppertaler Bühnen and from 1990 to 1993 at the Berlin Schillertheater . She worked with Katharina Thalbach and Benno Besson , among others . From 1993 to 1995 she was engaged at the Burgtheater in Vienna under the direction of Claus Peymann , in 1996 at the Salzburg Festival and from 1996 to 1999 at the Bochum theater. Orléans had been a member of the German Schauspielhaus in Hamburg since the 2000/01 season, and from the 2005/06 season she was a member of the Hanover Theater . In the 2013/14 to 2018/19 seasons she was a permanent member of the ensemble at the Schauspiel Köln . In the 2019/20 season she returned to the Hanover Theater under the direction of Sonja Anders .
After minor TV roles, Sabine Orléans became known to a wider audience in 1999 as the lovesick taxi driver Rose in Helmut Dietl's Late Show . This was followed, among other things, by the pioneer leader in Leander Haußmann's Sonnenallee and the main role of Commissioner Monika Thiele in Steinigt - The Death of the Luxury Lady (2000), Grettchen in Dirk Kummer's gender female and several appearances at the crime scene . In 2007 she was seen alongside Maximilian Brückner in Dieter Wedel's My Old Friend Fritz . In 2008 she starred in the hospital series Dr. Molly & Karl .
