Her audio play debut, parallel walking (DLF 2006), a piece reminiscent of the conceptual art of Sophie Calle and the movie The fabulous world of Amélie , is about the character Martha Westphal, who follows her unknown passers-by for three minutes according to a strict canon of rules. In her play The Next Best (NDR 2010), subtitled as “familial phantasm” , a kind of prequel to Walking Side by Side , Martha reappears as a little girl. As the daughter of a physicist and a biologist, she witnesses the solution of any energy problem when the kinetic energy of canine flu viruses is harnessed in a marriage of particle physics and molecular genetics. Both pieces were nominated for the war blind radio play award. Her radio plays Zepellini (RBB / DLF 2008) and the long version of her 10-part short radio play series Something More Left - Ten Quickies for a Nation with a Declining Birth Rate (RBB 2007) were also nominated for this award . It is a satire on a campaign by the Ministry of Family Affairs to correct demographic development under the motto: “Reproduction, I'm in!” For the short radio play date of the RBB, she also produced the 5-part series Shooting Leyla about a somewhat bumbling photographer who directed it herself.

The 9-part series Die unlückliche Hausfrau (The Unhappy Housewife) was created for the shortest radio play seriesWurfsendung ” by Deutschlandradio Kultur .

The radio play The Last Battle (NDR 2011) accuses itself of being “a pre-post-capitalist letter of confession” and is about the sinking of the Elbphilharmonie by the now established old hippies, the “autonomous group Second Spring”.

Dunja Arnaszu's first children's radio play, Futsch , is set in the federal collection point for lost objects and feelings, where everything that was believed to be lost can be bought back for a small administrative fee.
