Volkram Zschiesche

Volkram Zschiesche (* 1979 in Coburg ) is a German actor .

Life

Volkram Zschiesche, son of a Filipino woman and a German, spent his childhood in Tokyo and Seoul . When the family returned to Germany, he came to Stuttgart at the age of twelve , where he graduated from the Hölderlin-Gymnasium Stuttgart . He originally wanted medical study, but then opted for acting.

In 2004 he began an acting training at the European Theater Institute in Berlin . He then completed his acting studies from 2005 to 2009 in Potsdam at today's Film University Babelsberg "Konrad Wolf" in the media city of Babelsberg . He received his first engagement at the Ulm Theater , where he was a permanent member of the theater ensemble for four seasons from 2009 to 2013. His Ulm roles included u. a. the commander Talbot in The Maid of Orleans , the Drum Major in Woyzeck , Jason in Medea , of Hamlet , the Friar in Nathan the Wise , the saxophone playing SS man Kittel in the ghetto of Joshua Sobol and Estragon in Waiting for Godot .

At the Ulm Theater he also took part in several musical productions. He sang the voracious plant Audrey in Der kleine Horrorladen (2009-10), impersonated the handsome Rocky in the Rocky Horror Show (2010-11), and stood as saxophone player Joe ("Josephine") in the musical Sugar (2011-12) Stage and was the Claude in Hair (2012-13). The musical Hair was Zschiesche's last new production before he left the Ulm theater in the summer of 2013 to devote himself more to youth theater projects and film work. Since then he has worked as a freelance film and television actor and speaker.

Zschiesche has now worked in over 30 film and television productions. He has appeared in several independent and Berlin low-budget productions.

In Cologne's Tatort: ​​Freddy tanzt (first broadcast: February 2015), Zschiesche played the stockbroker and arrogant banker Tobias Krenz at the side of Klaus J. Behrendt and Dietmär Bär . In the 11th season of the Austrian TV series SOKO Donau (2015) Zschiesche had one of the episode roles as a suspected security employee and bodyguard Anton Drewrysky. In the Kiel crime scene: Borowski and the happiness of others (first broadcast: March 2019) he was the murder victim as the “loving husband” Thomas Dell.

Zschiesche realized several youth theater projects and led self-awareness workshops for young people. For several years he has also staged the final stage play of the 12th grade at the Waldorf School in Ulm . In addition to his work as an actor, he also works as an acting coach and acting trainer.

His hobbies include martial arts and martial arts . He made his own martial arts films with friends. He worked in martial arts short films and worked as a martial arts choreographer.

Zschiesche has lived in Berlin since 2014. He works in Berlin and regularly also in Ulm.
