action

Agent 47 goes in search of Katia van Dees, the daughter of Petr Litvenko, who started “The Agent Program” - a program that led to the creation of Agent 47. At the same time, LeClerq, the head of the organization "Syndicate International", is trying to develop an unstoppable army of newer, better clones. Accordingly, Agent 47 is not looking alone. LeClerq sent John Smith, a dermal armored super soldier who is physically superior to the agent. John Smith also manages to reach Katia van Dees first and wins her trust. After a violent exchange of fire, including in the US Embassy in Berlin , John and Katia hide in a hotel room. There, John tries to elicit the whereabouts of her father from Katia. With new information from John, she actually succeeds in determining the whereabouts. As she is about to tell him, Agent 47 shows up and apparently kills John. He manages to convince Katia that he is the "good guy" in this case and that he wants to prevent the agent program from being reissued. Katia herself went through the same agent program as Agent 47 as a child and she was programmed with a number of skills that should make life easier for her on the run. But it is still untrained. There is another showdown with John, who is superior to the agent. But 47 takes advantage of a weakness in John. The latter is looking for confirmation that he is superior to the agent, and so Katia and 47 manage to temporarily eliminate John.

Katia has located her father in Singapore, where the terminally ill man, suffering from lung cancer , intends to spend his old age. The two travel to Singapore, but John also finds out about them. In Singapore, after a few chases, they actually meet Katia's father. However, Syndicate manages to arrest the man. Agent 47 takes advantage of this to lure LeClerq out of his hermetically sealed hiding place. In a final showdown, the agent succeeds in eliminating John Smith. Meanwhile, LeClerq flees with Katia's father. However, he carries a detonator with him, which he detonates. So he sacrifices himself to smash Syndicate.

Agent 47 is now rogue and wants to keep protecting Katia. His own organization incites Agent 48 on them. The two open fire, followed by the credits. In one scene you can see John Smith, who was electrocuted, open his eyes again.
