Barnaby Metschurat

Barnaby Metschurat (born September 22, 1974 in West Berlin ) is a German actor .

Life

Barnaby Metschurat was born in 1974 in Berlin-Neukölln . His parents were independent entrepreneurs; he grew up mainly with his mother. He completed his acting training in 1994 at the drama school Die Etage in Berlin. In 1995 he played the role of Kaspar Riedel in the series Our Teacher Doctor Specht . In 1998 he made his cinema debut in the Berlin film Angel Express by director RP Kahl . Since then he has appeared in both cinema and television films and series.

He also plays theater, for example the role of Cliff in Daydreamers by William Mastrosimone in 1995 at the TAT Theater in Berlin , and from 1996 to 1997 as an ensemble member at the Rote Grütze Berlin in About One Does n't Talk and What Does It Mean Here Love , 1997/98 in the Vaganten Stage Berlin in The Swing by E. In 2016 he played the role of Joseph Goebbels in the biography Time for Legends about Jesse Owens and his participation in the 1936 Summer Olympics .

Metschurat has lived with actress Lavinia Wilson since 2001 and has a daughter from a previous relationship. In February 2014, the couple's son was born. The second son was born in June 2016.

In 2011, Wilson and Metschurat founded the film production company HotCouple and presented their short film Sunny and Roswitha at the Saarbrücken Film Festival .

In 2016, the joint debut feature film, Hey Bunny, premiered at the Oldenburg International Film Festival . The film opened in cinemas in April 2017.
