action

Julietta is an 18-year-old (Lavinia Wilson) student from Stuttgart, who goes to Berlin with two friends (Julia Jentsch, Anne Ratte-Polle) and her boyfriend Jiri (Matthias Koeberlin) to celebrate the Love Parade. They dance, do drugs together, have sex and eventually get separated from the partying crowd. During the desperate search for her boyfriend, Julietta loses consciousness as a result of the drugs. Max (Barnaby Metschurat), a DJ and supposed savior, finds her and carries her to a secluded place. He is visibly impressed by Julietta's beauty and cannot control himself for a moment. While she is still unconscious, he rapes her. The next morning she can't remember it and Max brings her back to her friends. Six weeks later, Julietta notices in her homeland that she is pregnant. Immediately she goes to Berlin to look for Jiri. There she happened to meet Max, who is now friends with Jiri. Together they look for Jiri and Max turns out to be Julietta's “savior” again. During the search for Jiri, the two get closer, but Julietta tries to suppress her feelings. Max, who can't get the bad feelings out of his head, confesses to Julietta what he has done. When Jiri finds out about the pregnancy, there are dramatic arguments.
