Sophie Moser (born May 29, 1984 in Troisdorf-Sieglar ) is a German violinist and actress .

Life

Sophie Moser showed an interest in music as a toddler and initially played the piano . She received her first musical support at the age of three from her mother, a music teacher. From the age of five she received violin lessons from the Russian violin teacher Anatoli Schwarzburg, first in Saint Petersburg and later in Bonn .

In 1990 she won first prize in the violin and piano classes at the Jugend musiziert competition . In the same year she had her first tour with the Chamber Orchestra of St. Petersburg Soloists .

Since then, Moser has appeared regularly in public, both in solo recital and in chamber music and violin with orchestra. After public appearances in early childhood and after winning various awards and prizes, Sophie Moser, who was eleven at the time, passed the entrance exam to become a young student in Zakhar Bron's master class at the Lübeck University of Music . At the same time, she was also receiving regular violin lessons from Sergej Fatkulin in Madrid .

In the following time Moser had a growing number of appearances. Sophie Moser also works as an actress. In 1998 she appeared in the German crime comedy Jimmy the Kid as the violin-playing millionaire daughter Jenny. From 2007 to 2012 she could be seen from the 21st to the 25th season in the television series Großstadtrevier in the first , where she played the policewoman Nicole "Nicki" Beck .

Prizes and awards

In addition to the competitions Jugend musiziert (first prize in 1990 and 1994), the first prize at UFAM in Paris (1991), other international violin competitions, of which she was the winner, are among the special awards .
