Karim Düzgün Günes (born April 25, 1986 in Tunceli , Turkey ) is a German actor of Zaza descent.

Life

Karim Günes lived in Turkey until he was four. Then he moved with his family to Moers in North Rhine-Westphalia and attended the Adolfinum high school there . Before his film career, Günes began his career as a model for numerous fashion labels such as Hugo Boss and Replay . He took on his first film role in 2009 and ended his modeling career.

Career

Günes took on his first film role from 2009 to 2012 as the main role Kaya Sahin in the television series Das Haus Anubis , which was awarded the Kids Choice Award and Rating Meter in the category "Favorite Series" in 2010 . After the success of the series, he was also seen on the screen as Kaya Sahin in the movie of the same name in 2012, Das Haus Anubis - Path of 7 Sins . In other leading roles he worked with film directors such as the Oscar-nominated Marc-Andreas Borchert and the award-winning Lars-Gunnar Lotz . From 2015 he became known to the television audience as Kaan Gül in the series Dr. Little known. In 2016 he stood in front of the camera for the fourth part of the movie adaptation "Bibi and Tina" directed by Detlev Buck . Furthermore, as chief inspector Karim Uthman , he takes on a permanent leading role in the successful ZDF crime series Stralsund , alongside Alexander Held , Katharina Wackernagel , Wanja Mues and Michael Rotschopf .
