Michael redhead
Michael Rotschopf (born October 28, 1969 in Lienz , Austria ) is an Austrian actor and radio play speaker .
Life
Michael Rotschopf received his training as an actor at the Max Reinhardt Seminar in Vienna . During his training he was brought to the Burgtheater in Vienna . He was a member of the ensemble for five years. In 1996 Michael Rotschopf received the OE Hasse Prize from the Berlin Academy of the Arts from Peter Zadek , Martin Benrath and Michael Heltau . He worked with theater directors such as Hans Hollmann , Achim Benning , Adolf Dresen , Michael Simon and Matthias Hartmann , among others in Vienna andFrankfurt am Main . Peter Stein engaged the actor for his productions Faust (2000) with Bruno Ganz and Wallenstein (2007) and Der zerbrochne Krug (2008-2016), each with Klaus Maria Brandauer in the leading role. In 2015 he took on the role of Macheath in Brecht / Weill's Threepenny Opera at the Salzburg Festival .
Michael Rotschopf is also employed as a speaker in concerts, radio plays and audio book productions. He appeared as a speaker a. a. also at the US premiere of the Requiem for a young poet by Bernd Alois Zimmermann in Carnegie Hall in New York and later in Paris, London and the Berlin Philharmonic .
Michael Rotschopf lives in Berlin .
