Helmut Peschina
Helmut Peschina (born January 7, 1943 in Klosterneuburg ) is an Austrian writer .
Live and act
Helmut Peschina grew up in Klosterneuburg, where he attended the Realgymnasium and passed the Matura in 1961 . In Vienna he studied Latin , German and theater studies and was also a listener at the Vienna Film Academy . Today he lives in Vienna and Pulkau .
His plays have been translated into American, Bulgarian, Flemish, Italian, Polish, Romanian, Swedish, Slovenian and Hungarian.
The premature legacy to 2000 by Helmut Peschina was from the Vienna library purchased at City Hall.
Peschina is a member of the IG authors , the Graz authors' meeting and the Podium association . From 1981 to 1991 he was also co- editor of the literary magazine Podium .
Helmut Peschina is the administrator of the estate of the writer Alois Vogel († 2005).
