Your last customer is a German television film by René Heisig from 2005. It is the 30th episode of the crime series A strong team with Maja Maranow and Florian Martens in the leading roles.

action

Chief Detective Verena Berthold and colleague Otto Garber have to solve the murder of the business administration student Jennifer Preuss, whose body was found in the forest. After Georg Scholz moved to Münster , the young Benedikt Kolberg took his place in the team and was immediately allowed to work on the external investigations.

The student had worked as a hostess and most recently had contact with Kai Wiesholler, a successful athlete who is currently advertising an anti-drug campaign with the police and who is now suspected of murder. Wiesholler states that he booked the woman through an agency as a blind date , but she did not get to him. A corresponding complaint has been lodged with the agency. From there, the investigators Yüzgüler and Kolberg get a list of the customers who have been "served" by Jennifer Preuss in the past few months. One of these customers is MP Steingruber, who was blackmailed by the student with a video. He states that he was willing to pay and that Preuss wanted to bring the money, but did not find her. After a new demand for money arrives, her roommate can be convicted of blackmail as an accomplice and accomplice. However, there is no concrete evidence of the murder.

On the other hand, the suspicion against Kai Wiesholler is confirmed, because the investigators find out that he was often very harsh with his female acquaintances and there is no evidence that Jennifer Preuss was not with him on the night of the crime. When the pressure to investigate increases, Wiesholler himself is suddenly found dead. According to the evidence, it was suicide, which his friends Ulrich Baring and Thomas Overbeck cannot imagine. This is confirmed after the autopsy. Overbeck is the press spokesman for the police and is currently in a relationship with Berthold. During a visit to his boat, she not only got to know Baring, but also met the top athlete again. But the friendship between the three was not that close. Overbeck was tired of Wiesholler just taking advantage of him and Baring. After he had to dispose of the body for him, Wiesholler began to blackmail him with it. In the argument he lost his nerve and shot Wiesholler.
