action
In this episode, the SEK is investigating drug traffickers in cooperation with the Federal Criminal Police Office . Verena is at the same time freshly in love with Max, an obviously wealthy young businessman, but that doesn't detract from her commitment to the team. The senior investigator of the BKA, Lothar Wolf, about whom he knew well V-man threaded a large drug deal Mario. Two foreign couriers arrived in Berlin with a delivery worth 5 million marks and have been under surveillance around the clock ever since. Wolf plans a high-profile arrest as soon as the money is handed over. The procurement of the large sum is delayed. While observing the two drug dealers, who pass the waiting time with illegal gambling, Verena meets her Max in a notorious gamer bar. In the meantime, Otto meets with Mario in a bar and is surprised to find that nobody else is is as his childhood friend Mario, who was allegedly killed many years ago. Mario reveals to him that he faked his death to do dangerous special jobs anonymously. He tells Otto that he has no plans to hand over the money. Rather, he would go into hiding with the drugs and the five million marks and retire. He offers Otto to participate in the deal. Otto takes it up for pretense. After Wolf handed over the suitcase with the millions to Mario in a factory building, a spectacular chase ensues. Mario first sets off by car with Otto in tow and kills the drug couriers when they hand over the money. Mario and Otto then flee with a waiting helicopter and later cross-country in an off-road vehicle. The showdown takes place on an abandoned, formerly Soviet military site. Otto only gets away with his life through Verena's commitment. As a thank you, he invites Verena, who has since separated from the dubious Max, to a posh restaurant, not knowing what high bill awaits him afterwards.
