Kollege Mörder is a German television film by Peter F. Bringmann from 2003. It is the 24th episode of the crime series A strong team with Maja Maranow and Florian Martens in the leading roles.

action

A police van that is on its way to the incinerator with a large amount of heroin is ambushed by two men in disguise. The police chief is beside himself and suspects that the perpetrators must have an informant from police circles, since the time and route of such delicate transports are kept strictly secret. Reddemann's team is charged with solving the case. Chief Inspector Achenbach is assigned to you by the drug search. A short time later, Martin Hanke is found shot by the burglary department. Since he apparently shot himself with his service weapon, Reddemann suspects that he was the tipster. Traces of heroin in his apartment fuel this suspicion. But Detective Chief Otto Garber is skeptical about suicide, because Hanke wanted with him shortly before his death in private talk. Otto and his colleague Verena initially concentrate on Hanke's colleagues and find out that Hanke had behaved conspicuously the day before.

Chief Inspector Achenbach and Georg Scholz ask around in the drug scene to see if anything can be found there. In this way they manage to find two suspects who can easily be held responsible for the attack and arrested. Prosecutor Mentheimer, who was in financial difficulties due to the construction of his house, can be convicted as her informant. It turns out that they hadn't captured heroin, only bags of flour. Someone had exchanged the drug in the evidence room and hoped that after the official cremation it would not have been noticed. But Martin Hanke had noticed because he had always siphoned off small amounts himself, but not to enrich himself, but because he wanted to use the heroin to help his cancer friend to relieve his suffering.

Since Hanke obviously wanted to confide in Otto in order to tell him about the exchanged heroin, it can be assumed that this was the reason for his murder. The thieves and their informant probably knew nothing about the exchange and are ruled out as perpetrators. On the other hand, only someone who had access to the evidence room could have stolen the drug. After all suspects have been ruled out, only Hanke's colleague Uwe Sakowski remains. This has meanwhile also killed Hanke's friend because he had evidence against him. In order to convict him, the officers start a large eavesdropping attack on the suspect. Although he notices the forced investigation against him and can convince the officials of his innocence at short notice, he is surprised in the end with the heroin in a gazebo. When accessed, he is shot by a sniper. Verena is shocked by this drastic measure for which Detective Director Hagenguth was responsible. That makes the investigators suspicious and they set a trap for him. As a result, Hagenguth betrays himself and is arrested. To his apology, he only said: You can't just let ten million euros burn like that.
