Security level 1 is a German television film by Peter Fratzscher from 2004. It is the 28th episode of the crime series A strong team with Maja Maranow and Florian Martens in the leading roles.

action

In this case, Chief Detective Verena Berthold and colleague Otto Garber first have to clarify the identity of a 15-year-old boy whose body was found at the Tiergarten lock in Berlin. Only a conspicuous tattoo reveals that it is a victim from the prostitute scene . A supervisor of the scene kids remembers a dispute between the victim and Jürgen Stach over a video camera. When Otto locates Stach and the camera, there are photos of the victim and his last suitor. Although it cannot be ruled out that Stach killed the boy himself, the investigators are also following up on the information about the suitor. He initially denies having even known the boy. But it quickly turns out that he is the actual owner of the video camera and that Stach and the victim stole the camera, including five other tapes, which would be a motive for the man. In order to be able to prove anything to him, he is under surveillance and thus has an alibi when Stach is also killed a few days later.

Verena finds explosive connections to an upcoming state visit by the Sultan von Domar and the murders. Both boys had moved into their quarters on private property belonging to a professor who knows the Sultan personally and wants to meet with him there. Therefore, the investigators believe it is possible that a GSG 9 man had ensured "order" in advance and "disposed of" the uninvited guests. In search of the perpetrator, the investigators monitor the Sultan in parallel with the security forces from the special operation and manage to prevent a planned assassination attempt, which in the end was the ambassador of Domar. In the course of the preparations, the assassins killed Stach and his friend because they got in their way in their work.
