Ralf Dittrich (* 1949 in Berlin ) is a German actor .

Life

From 1972 to 1976 Ralf Dittrich studied at the Ernst Busch Academy of Dramatic Arts in Berlin . After completing his military service, Dittrich has been working on German-speaking theaters since 1977, including the Berliner Ensemble , Deutsches Theater Berlin , Volksbühne Berlin , Kleist-Theater Frankfurt, Schillertheater Berlin , German National Theater Weimar , Residenztheater Munich , Wiener Burgtheater , Schauspielhaus Bochum , Schauspielhaus Graz , Schauspielhaus Zürich and the National Theater Mannheim .

He worked with George Tabori , Thomas Langhoff , Dimiter Gotscheff , Karin Henkel , Frank Castorf and Andreas Kriegenburg , among others .

Ralf Dittrich worked particularly often with Leander Haussmann . From Haußmann's first production Hedda Gabler (1989, Landestheater Parchim), Kabale und Liebe (1990 Kleist-Theater Frankfurt (Oder)), A Midsummer Night's Dream (1992 at the National Theater Weimar), to Haussmann's Romeo and Juliet production (1993 at the Residenztheater in Munich - in the additionally invented role of Naso after Ovid ), Antigone (1993 Salzburg Festival), Don Carlos (1993 Schillertheater Berlin), Drei Schwestern (1994 Burgtheater Vienna), - further productions from 1995 onwards at the Schauspielhaus Bochum under Haussmann's directorship , (where the figure of Naso was included again in Much Ado About Nothing ), as well as in Elektra by Hugo von Hofmannsthal (2003 at the Berliner Ensemble), and most recently in Rosmersholm (2011 at the Volksbühne Berlin).

Ralf Dittrich has been back in front of the camera since 2002. He plays in short films such as Nobody Keers, Business with Dreams and Stranger Brother, in series such as: SOKO Cologne , SOKO Wismar , SOKO Leipzig and Alarm for Cobra 11 , in television films such as: Die Nachrichten , Frau Böhm says No , Mogadischu , Die Grenz und The Spiegel Affair (the latter three by Roland Suso Richter ), but also in films like NVA , Phantomschmerz , Parkour and Frantz by François Ozon.
