action

Actually, the divorce lawyer Uli is against marriages due to the many bad experiences he had in his professional life. But when he met Pia, who is also a lawyer specializing in family law, the two of them literally sparks off and they marry together.

What the couple is missing for complete happiness is actually just a baby. However, their desire to have children is not fulfilled, so Pia tries to become a mother through artificial insemination. However, when she learns that Uli has cheated on, she files for divorce.

Uli does not want to lose the lady of his heart, however, and now pulls out all the stops of family law legislation. Meanwhile, out of defiance, Pia takes another partner and is observed by Uli while she watches a soccer game with him. When asked about this by Uli at a garden party, Pia replies that Uli never asked her if she would like to go to the football stadium with him.

Uli and Pia realize that they were basically made for each other and break off the divorce. After a harmonious night of love, Pia now becomes pregnant by Uli; the two are now even expecting the birth of twins.

The summary of the program magazine is: "Couple existence as a roller coaster ride".

Rainer Tittelbach sums it up with appreciation: "Intelligent relationship comedy by Grimme Prize winner Annette Ernst". The film critic's conclusion is: “As is so often the case in good comedies,“ Bettgeflüster & Babyglück ”has something special in the details: precise timing, tasteful furnishings, wonderfully airy Berlin locations and a modern look that is never too poppy. Plus a camera at eye level with the protagonists ”.
