Schöner Wohnen is a German TV film by Filippos Tsitos from 2012. It is the 53rd episode of the crime series A strong team with Maja Maranow and Florian Martens in the leading roles.

Veterinarian Caroline Behringer is found stabbed to death in her apartment. Chief Detective Verena Berthold and colleague Otto Garber are first investigating the real estate investor Scholler, who wants to evict the long -established residents of the neighborhood , in which the victim also lived, in order to convert the apartments into hotels and condominiums. Caroline Behringer was the head of a citizens' movement against this project and had quarreled with Scholler several times.
The victim lived alone, but has recently had a friend, according to the office hours help, but he does not know the name or address. She spent further free time with the telephone counseling of a charitable association, for which she worked voluntarily. The manager, Silvia Teckler, can remember a caller who only wanted to speak to Caroline Behringer and who followed her downright. This Daniel Elvert has a criminal record for various property crimes and is one of the main suspects alongside Scholler.
The next day the house owner millet is found dead. Since she had rented one of her apartments to Ms. Behringer, the two cases seem to be related. However, this victim was killed in front of the vet and the murder pattern is also different.
In the course of the further investigations, Verena Berthold comes across the painting company Peter Schneider, which primarily carries out the smaller renovations in the apartment buildings here in the Kiez. Daniel Elvert is Peter Schneider's nephew and works in his uncle's small business. Since there have been minor break-ins in the recently renovated apartments without exception, the investigators assume that Elvert has relapsed. On closer inspection, it is clear that Elvert must have committed the break-ins together with his uncle. After Verena and Otto observe the suspects, they can convict them in the act. It turns out that Peter Schneider killed the house owner when she surprised him during the break-in. His nephew had wanted to ease himself through the telephone counseling and had spoken to Caroline Behringer about the incident. When his uncle found out, he silenced the vet so she couldn't tell the police anything.

Schöner Wohnen was filmed from March 1 to April 3, 2012 under the working title After Call of Murder in Berlin and was first broadcast on ZDFneo on October 10 of the same year at 8:15 p.m.
Sputnik , whose role as a businessman in the series is designed as a running gag , opens "Happy Feet - Sputnik's Fish Spa" in this episode. Kangalfish kept in pools are supposed to nibble the skin flakes from their feet and thus ensure the well-being of their customers.

Filippos Tsitos' compulsory cinematic exercise doesn't really get going. "
The critics of the TV magazine TV Spielfilm also only give a medium rating (thumbs straight) and say: "Too much staff, details and tricks slows down the tension." Conclusion: "Experienced investigators in an overloaded crime thriller."
