Tatjana Alexander (* 1969 in Melbourne , Victoria , Australia ) is a German actress . She spent her school days in Austria. After working as an assistant director at the theater in her hometown, she moved to Los Angeles to study acting at Milton Katsellas' BeverlyHills Playhouse . She returned to Australia to expand her studies at the National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA) in Sydney and to play theater.

Career

In 1996 she made her European debut in the television series Stockinger and Kommissar Rex .

In 1998 she first appeared in European cinemas in a leading role in Stephan Wagner's debut film Smoking Cuban Style . After moving to Berlin in 1999, she worked with Lois Weinberger and Markus Heltschl on As Ever - Am Rande der Arena - a documentary full of allusions and cross-references to Lois Weinberger's work as an artist.
