Grégoire Colin

Grégoire Colin (born July 27, 1975 in Châtenay-Malabry in the Île-de-France ) is a French film actor . Colin is often cast for very ambivalent characters and impresses with an extremely restrained physical presence. From the age of 15 (1990) to the beginning of 2008, Colin took part in around 40 films and was used in leading roles early on, especially by Claire Denis , who had worked with him seven times by 2008; since 2005 it has been appearing more and more frequently in mainstream cinema.

In 1996 Colin was awarded the special prize at the Locarno Film Festival for his role in Nénette and Boni ; the film also received the Golden Leopard for best film . In 1993 Colin (for Olivier, Olivier , 1992) was nominated as "Most Promising Male Actor" for the César .
